Turning knowledge into action for childhood eye health.

We are excited to begin a new chapter of collaboration with the University of Nairobi (UoN), bringing together two communities united by a common goal: creating greater awareness and understanding of childhood eye health. Through this partnership, we are laying the groundwork for meaningful student engagement and advocacy that can extend from the university community to the wider public.

As a leading institution in Kenya, the University of Nairobi brings together a vibrant community of students, educators, and health professionals who have the potential to influence change far beyond the university setting. Through our collaboration, we aim to harness that potential by creating spaces for students to learn about retinoblastoma, champion early detection, engage their communities, and become informed voices for childhood eye health.

We are excited about what this partnership makes possible and deeply appreciate the University of Nairobi for opening its doors to the Know The Glow movement. From knowledge-sharing and awareness campaigns to student-led initiatives and community outreach, we look forward to building a partnership that translates education into action and action into impact.

Together, we are working towards a future where every child has the opportunity to see, learn, grow, and thrive.
