On June 28th, the community of Gontei in Aburi, Ghana, witnessed the impact of Project GoGo 2.0, an initiative launched by the Touch of hope foundation and Smile Foundations Ghana, in collaboration with Dr. Zulfiya Gbedemah and Dr. Mohammed-Sherrif Fuseini.
This outreach brought care, joy, and healing to over 150 residents.
The day featured a variety of activities including health screenings, food and clothing donations, health talks, children’s art sessions, and interactive sessions for farmers with tool giveaways and quizzes.
A key moment was the session on “Know The Glow,” which taught families to spot a subtle sign in children’s eyes that may signal danger. Flyers were shared to help them remember to act quickly if they noticed it.
Project GoGo 2.0 proved that even one day of love and service can light up a community.
