We are excited to formally announce our partnership with Novena University and the establishment of the Know The Glow (KTG) Student Chapter at Novena, marking another important step in expanding student-led advocacy for childhood blindness prevention in Africa.
This chapter is led by Ekeleni Toritsheneye Amos, the Pioneer President of the KTG-Novena Student Chapter, whose leadership and commitment have been instrumental in bringing this collaboration to life. We also extend our sincere appreciation to Professor Franklin E. Kio, Head of the Department of Optometry, and Dr. Nkollo M. Innocent, KTG Novena Faculty Adviser, for their guidance, encouragement, and strong institutional support.
Special recognition goes to the 20 optometry students of Novena University who have stepped forward to champion early detection, awareness, and community engagement around childhood eye health. Their enthusiasm and dedication reflect the power of students in driving sustainable health impact.
