Introducing Pemije Emmanuel Gadimoh Global Student Chapter Ambassador

Pemije Emmanuel Gadimoh is a dedicated Doctor of Optometry candidate at the University of Benin, Nigeria. With a strong passion for eye care, patient education, and global health initiatives.

As the Founder and President of OPTOGLOBE, he has established and led a global network of optometry students, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.

 Additionally, he serves as the Vice President of SVOSH-UNIBEN, where he has developed strategies to engage members and expand the organization’s reach. 

Pemije is also an active member of the Nigerian Optometric Student Association, University of Benin Chapter Public Health and Outreach Committee, contributing to community health initiatives.

He has served as the Electoral Commissioner of the Nigerian Optometric Students Association both at University of Benin chapter level and at national level.

 His contributions have earned him accolades such as the Most Influential Optometry Student in the University of Benin for the year 2024 and Nigerian Optometry Student of the Year (2024). 

He has also presented at international conferences, including the African Council of Optometry Conference in Uganda in 2024 and the VOSH-International USA meeting, Indianapolis in 2024.

Pemije’s professional experience spans various roles, including clinical optometric services, tutoring, customer engagement, and digital content creation. 

He has provided personalized customer support, assisted in navigating platforms, and ensured customer satisfaction. As a tutor, Pemije has delivered tailored sessions in health sciences, adapting teaching methods to diverse learning needs and maintaining strong student relationships.

Pemije has produced high-quality content for nonprofit campaigns and awareness programs, collaborating closely with teams to develop compelling storytelling through multimedia.

Pemije is fluent in English and has basic knowledge of French. He is available for global optometry externship opportunities in 2026 and is eager to gain hands-on experience in clinical practice.
