KnowTheGlow was honored to take part in the Nigerian Optometric Students’ Association’s UNIBEN Health Week, joining hands to raise awareness about the Glow and its significance in detecting early signs of childhood blindness.
On December 10th, students rallied around the University of Benin community, spreading the word about the Glow and even engaging children with fun and educational activities. A lively dance competition brought smiles and excitement, with cash prizes awarded to two lucky participants!
The event continued on December 11th with a symposium themed Collaborative Efficiency: Building Tomorrow’s Eye Care Today. Attendees watched an educational video about the Glow and participated in interactive discussions. Free vision screenings were also conducted for infants, schoolchildren, and adults, ensuring access to vital eye care.
