Creating a World Where Every Child Can See

This World Sight Day, help us spread the word on early detection.

World Sight Day, observed each year on the second Thursday of October, is a global day led by the International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness (IAPB) that casts a spotlight on the importance of eye care that's accessible, available, and affordable for everyone. Nearly everyone on the planet will experience an eye health issue in their lifetime, yet over a billion people still lack access to the services and treatments they need.

As an IAPB member, KnowTheGlow is joining the world in marking this year's observance on October 8. More than 80% of childhood blindness is preventable or curable when caught early.

This October, we're asking our community — parents, physicians, partners, and advocates around the world — to help us spread that message.
