2019 Jimmy Choo Event Was A Success!
It was an incredible evening. The conversation sparkled, everyone looked gorgeous—but most importantly, your generosity helped raise enough money to fund next year’s efforts. You stood up (many in sky-high heels!) against childhood blindness—and we love you for it.
This is a deeply personal campaign, built on some of our most difficult moments as mothers—and we are so grateful to you for helping us make the sixth annual Jimmy Choo event yet another success.
We had big dreams when we walked into Jimmy Choo last week—and with each purchased raffle ticket, each tissue-wrapped shoe, and each name penned on a silent auction card, you made those dreams come true!
Thank you, Cindy and Glenn Braggs for sharing your beautiful family’s story with us. You know what it means to love until it hurts, and we know that Solomon feels that love every day. Soon, children all around the world are going to feel the effects of that love. We are fighting to eliminate rare eye diseases right alongside you.
We want to thank each of our donors who made it easy to give to a worthy cause. Jimmy Choo is always an exciting place to be, and this year’s styles did not disappoint. We had 60 other donors to also thank for last night’s success:

Over $70,000 Raised At 2018 Jimmy Choo Event!
Know the Glow raised over $70,000 to provide parents of children facing one or more of 20 sight-robbing diseases with education and support at their fifth annual fundraiser on May 2nd, 2018.
Guests shopped for a cause for two hours at Jimmy Choo in Beverly Hills, where a percentage of all purchases benefited Know the Glow. Donors provided raffle prizes and silent auction items as well, including Universal Studios, Chateau Montelena, The Heritage Resort and Spa, and many others.
Know the Glow was founded by Megan Webber and her friends, Sandra Roderick and Lannette Turicchi, after Megan’s son was diagnosed with Coat’s Disease at the age of five. The nonprofit raises public awareness for glow-related eye diseases and drives action to prevent childhood blindness.
